Summer is here and the mountains are calling! It is time to get outdoors and enjoy beautiful Utah with your family or friends! These 3 hikes are EVERYONE friendly!

Hidden Falls

The parking lot for this trailhead is located 4.4 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon just off the S-Turn. Head North from the parking lot and cross the road. Hidden falls is located up the stream– you can choose to cross the stream (there is a log) or continue on the east side. This hike is approximately .3 miles long and quite rewarding especially for little kids.

Donut Falls

This hike is great for all ages! Located in Big Cottonwood Canyon approximately 9 miles up– take a right and drive past the Jordan Pines Picnic Area where you will see the trailhead parking lot. This fills up quickly especially on the weekends! The trailhead is easy to find and the hike takes approximately 30 minutes to arrive at the falls (¾ miles total).

Lake Blanche

Big Cottonwood Canyon-Trailhead is in the lower portion of the S-turn (about 4.5 miles up the canyon)

This hike starts in the lower S-Turn in Big Cottonwood Canyon which is approximately 4.5 miles up the canyon. The trail head is about ¼ mile up the road on the right. The hike starts on a small hill, crosses a stream which leads to a switchback which will put you on a stair-like trail. At the top of the stair is an aspen grove! Remain on this trail for 2 ¾ miles and you will arrive at Lake Blanche. It takes around 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach beautiful Lake Blanche.
